Sponsorship

Once a girls are rescued, we need sponsors to help support them.  $40/month helps pay for her schooling, food, clothing, room and board, and any other necessities she might need.  We currently have over 200 girls in the program, with the majority already having sponsors.  Call the office at 903-525-1186 if you would like more information on sponsorship.

Pray about being a part of the Rescue Center Building program.  Green Acres Baptist Church is partnering with the Africa Inland Church to provide a safe place for these girls as they prepare for a future that none of them could dream of before being a part of the Kenyan Girls Rescue program.  We are helping to build a rescue center.  This center will provide a safe place for the girls to live when they are not at school - which is when most of the abuse takes place.  The cost of the Rescue Center is approximately $1,000,000.  The center will also be a place where the girls can stay while they are in college or technical school.  The center will be operated and maintained by the Africa Inland Church and will be a center for other ministries as well.

The most valuable thing you can do is pray.  Pray for our girls, and pray for those who work with them and keep them safe.  Pray for their families, too.  Our ultimate goal for our girls is reconciliation with their families, but not until families are ready to admit that FGM and early forced marriage is NOT the best practice for their daughters.
